Maintaining peace remains a challenge in today’s world. A clear proof of this is the Russia-Ukraine conflict, where hostilities are actively taking place. However, apart from military force, war can be waged by various technical/material means in modern reality. In particular, such a means is information, with which it is possible to conduct a less intense war than with military force. My words are confirmed by the processes developed in Rwanda on the African continent, where the information spread by the media containing disinformation and hate speech led to a bloody conflict between the two tribes in Rwanda – “Hutu” and “Tutsi”, which eventually resulted in the creation of an ad hoc tribunal and the trial of specific individuals. prosecuted for committing international crimes. Within the framework of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the spreader of propaganda and misinformation is Russia itself, a state that tries to achieve its interests both by forceful methods and information warfare.

Since February 24, 2022, Russia is trying to bring its aggression within the framework of international law. Even though Russia’s image of a “one who fulfills its word” has been significantly damaged in its relations with civilized states, it still tries to implement its actions within the framework of international law, or at least adjust them, which clearly shows us that for such a “terrorist state”, such as Russia, is still International law remains the leverage to be reckoned with. President Putin, in his February 24 speech, offers to explain why Russia is launching the so-called “special military operation”.

The work of secret, counter-intelligence services begins in early history, if we draw a parallel, we can say that the first secret service in Georgia was founded during the reign of Davit Agmashenebeli. To restore the broken and impoverished state to its feet, the “service of nobles” was created, whose direct task was to collect information about alleged crimes, and to collect confirmed information about nobles who had a claim to the independence of their province. The aforementioned service also worked with bribery methods and rewarded informants, while the courts treated criminals with the most brutal methods.
Similar services existed even in the early years of Tsarist Russia. We have reported that during the time of Ivan Mriskhane, there was a secret intelligence service that investigated and prevented the activities of potential criminals, and in this case, they were also brutally punished. The difference between modern and past secret service operations is that in the olden days, the punishment of the accused was done in public for all to see so that everyone knew what to expect if he went against the state.

Such services have always been subordinate to the government, their actions and strategies were based on the orders of state institutions. However, everything changed in the Russian Empire at the beginning of the twentieth century, when the smell of revolution had been swirling for a long time. The culmination of the class conflict became the revolution, the revolution turned out to be uniquely brutal and bloody, and later even turned into a civil war. The organizers of the revolution certainly carried out agitation and organization of the ordinary society for revolutionary actions, it was during this period that the term “Red Terror” was formed. The Red Terror became a symbol of the civil movement, and after the revolution, Soviet-motivated social movements were given full legitimacy to conduct independent investigations and identify counter-revolutionaries and traitors to the country, they drew up lists and wrote on the lists innocent citizens of the princely origin or even those who were unacceptable to them, and the public court He issued a sentence and the persons on the list were either imprisoned in Siberia, pierced or put in prison. Later, the secret police and the Cheka were created, which were already organized at the state level and began to arrest and execute people with anti-Soviet and anti-collectivism ideas.
The Red Terror, the repressions carried out during the first years of the founding of the Soviet Union, killed many people, almost the entire intelligentsia was destroyed, and there were no longer nobles and bourgeois in the country.

The repressions ended, Lenin was killed, and Stalin, a Georgian Bolshevik, won the battle to become the head of the Soviet Empire.
The peak of the Red Terror was already over, but suddenly the leader of the USSR decided to start a new terror, but in this case already on the eve of the officials who were at the head of the October Revolution and took an active part in the organization. The list turned out to be quite long. The majority of the repressed Bolshevik high officials turned out to be of Jewish or foreign origin, they were mostly tried under the article of espionage for the benefit of a foreign country and were executed in the Gulag without the right to correspond. Even some generals, the heroes of the revolution, followed the repressions and ended up in prison.
The new government was planning a change, and by the 1930s, the Soviet people needed to find an evil enemy to unite against a common misfortune and create a government of heroism. The villain who planned to betray the country is in jail or shot, this evil man brutally killed our innocent citizens during the red terror. It was this narrative in the action of the leadership of the time, along with the removal of relatively foreign competitive political figures from the state arena, that strengthened one-man rule.
And indeed, this tactic worked very well for Stalin and his inner circle, their rule was cemented and not shaken until Stalin’s death.

The Soviet Union collapsed, and 15 republics are now independent, but Soviet influence and imperialism have not disappeared. The majority of the rulers of the post-Soviet space of the 90s remained former communist high-ranking officials. Common trade and military blocs will be created. However, not all countries were affected by this. It is unnatural for Georgia to voluntarily give up the right to independent existence. Accordingly, the rule of the former communist leader in the country weakened in the early 2000s, the Georgian people expected changes from the new people. It is logical that in the end, with a peaceful revolution, the Shevardnadze government resigned and the new government was headed by Mikheil Saakashvili. The pro-Western course of the new government became a sign that the country became popular in the world, and Western institutions satisfied with democratization began to actively allocate funds. For reforming the country, initially, everything went right and the country was on the course of balkanization, which means that the country had the prospect of joining the European structures, which would guarantee its economic stability. But everything did not go as it should, the reform of the country’s police on the one hand produced positive results, but at the same time, it gave the force structure unlimited power, which is why the police regime began to be established. Saakashvili as a ruler soon turned into an authoritarian ruler. Parliament could no longer limit its power, and naturally, all of this led to a conflict between the majority of society and the government. Mass rallies began, with out-of-control police forces drowning and even killing protesters. The last point of the public’s patience turned out to be video footage of the prison, where it was shown how the members of the regime were torturing the prisoners.
Changes were needed, and everyone understood this, and billionaire Ivanishvili, who created his party and decided to become the head of the country, understood this. Ivanishvili defeated Saakashvili by a wide margin in 2012. Later, a judicial search was announced for Saakashvili. Saakashvili fled the country and became a citizen of Ukraine. After an unsuccessful career in Ukraine, he decided to return to Georgia and quietly entered the country with a container full of sour cream jars. He was caught, tried, and sentenced to 6 years. The current government considers Saakashvili’s regime to be criminal, and several high-ranking officials of that regime have been sentenced to prison here.

In this case, as well as in the case of Stalin’s repressions, the list of criminals includes the participants and organizers of the revolution, the first wave of the regime. They are similarly perceived as international agents and traitors to the country. The current government of the country has been ruling the country for the 11th year, thanks to the fact that they created an evil force in the name of Saakashvili and unwittingly united the Georgian people around it. People remember the “Red Terror” as bitterly as the prisoners who were raped in the prison during Saakashvili’s time. The government has been running for 12 years under the name “Saakashvili in prison or Georgia will not exist” and it is popular among the people because people remember the police regime that oppressed everyone indiscriminately. The list is long, but the fact is that the list works.

Equation – 12=2+5+6-1

The 12th part of the presentation talks about the composition of Georgia in the Soviet Union and describes the agrarian and modern proletarian achievements. There is also talk about the acquisition of tourism importance and the establishment of other industries. However, why was the occupation of a small region of the Caucasus, a small country? What was the purpose of such a decision by Moscow? Why did the Russian government decide to devote so much time to that region for many years?
The answer to these questions is hidden in other parts of the presentation, and I will try to connect them, give an answer and get an arithmetically correct result.

The first part that is an integral part of the equation is part number 2. This part of the presentation was devoted to the explanation of the geographically strategic location of Georgia, it is said that the region entered the territory of an important trade caravan highway from ancient times. It was also added that the Caucasus is located between two continents of old development, between Europe and Asia, it is a small corridor between two seas. One sea directly borders the countries of Central Asia (post-Soviet countries), and the other the countries of Eastern Europe (the countries of the Soviet social bloc). So the development of the Red Empire would not have been possible without this region.

The third part in the order of equality is part number 5. In my opinion, the mentioned part is directly related to the 2nd part of the equation, because here we are already talking about Georgia’s relations with its neighbors since ancient times. Also, in the same part, we talk about the great history of Georgian verbal and written culture and the formation of the final religious view.
For communist Russia, it was very vital to destroy the individualism of culturally independent countries and turn them into another gray worker-peasant state. The destruction of Georgian architectural achievements is the merit of Georgian patriotic high-ranking officials who managed to preserve Georgian art and culture in the name of communist ideology. The fifth part talks about the history of Georgian religion and the role of religion in the life of the country, it played a big role in the Russification of the region because, from the time of tsarism, many people forgot the independent and autocephalous values with the argument of one religion.

The 6th part of the presentation mainly talks about the twelfth century and the Renaissance of Georgia, when Georgian education was raised to the highest level. The greatest literary achievement of mankind is connected with this period, i.e. Shota Rustaveli’s Knight in Panther’s Skin. In my opinion, in this case, this part is also an integral part of the equation. I derived it from the fact that the Soviet period in Georgia is perceived by many as the best years of Georgia. In my opinion, this period, which is described in part 6, is an ideal period for presenting Georgian individualism, it is a period when Georgia was not a sphere of influence, but a source of influence. What we see on the contrary is the conditions of communist Georgia of the twentieth century.
Stalin as the all-time popular ruler of Georgia is a mistake, in the context that Georgia is not the Soviet Union. The most famous king of Georgia is King Tamar. And the most famous Georgian is Stalin, although he was the leader of the Soviet Union.

I woke up early in the morning, there was no one in the small room, it was a sunny morning, but the air was already heavy and heated. I put on my clothes and went out, and in front of the door, I found a beautifully arranged sitting room, with two long chairs and a table in the middle, and a roof over the top. It seemed that everything was done by hand, not by professionals, but by ordinary people. After sitting for a while, I decided to buy a cigarette, I have never tried an American cigarette. I pulled out into the driveway and looked for a store, it was 2 in the afternoon, and the sun was blazing hot, I was in suburban New Jersey, and stores aren’t that common here. On the way, I tried to get to know the place, observing everything in detail. Streets, houses, yards, lawns, everything was exactly as I had imagined and seen. I still did not realize that I was on another continent, America, and thinking about it made me dizzy. I was the only one walking down the street, everyone else was driving and they looked at me like I was crazy because I was walking. They proved to be partially correct as I walked about a mile to the first store in the hot August sun. When I returned, I found a middle-aged man sitting on a chair. He didn’t see me at first because his back was turned to me, I came a little closer and greeted him. The man stood up and turned towards me. He smiled at me and stood up, holding out his hand and greeting me back. The man was middle-aged, tall, and broad-shouldered, with large rough hands, and he was slightly bent at the waist.
Come sit down, said the man and sat down.
when did you arrive? he asked and opened a bottle of beer on the table.
yesterday evening. I answered.
Do you want a beer? he asked me.
no thanks. I don’t drink. I answered.
Wait, you don’t drink at all? The man asked me in surprise.

The main thing is to work, you should not be ashamed of work, it doesn’t matter who you were before, president or general, in America we are all equal. It is difficult here, but hard work is appreciated here. The man said to me and got up, and after a while, he also entered the house. I thought a lot that evening, people go through the hardest way to get to America, and even after they get there, they work tirelessly. It was necessary to find a job, otherwise, no one can survive here.

TOEFL test is internationally recognized by educational institutions. I had to write the test in the United States of America for a personal purpose to allow me to start studying at an American higher education institution. I had the test early in the morning at 8 o’clock, there were many people gathered in the hall. After a short procedure, we went through the final registration and finally found ourselves in a closed room, which was separated from the room on the side by a large glass. The test turned out to be quite difficult, considering the scarcity of time regulations. However, speaking was the most uncomfortable, because, in the mentioned section, I lost several points due to several technical errors. In my personal opinion, it would be best for the speaking section of the said exam process to be done directly with a professional. In the end, I scored a 71 on the test, which is considered a high average level, although I’m sure it would have been higher if not for the technical glitch.

First Hours

I was in the baggage claim terminal at the airport, I slept almost the entire transatlantic air route, but I was very tired, there was no luggage, everyone took their luggage, there were already several people in the terminal, and I was already thinking whether my luggage was lost, and those who have traveled such a long way will have more trouble, no, it would not be lost. Why is my luggage still lost? Now what would my father do if he was here, or someone else, my friend, I am very tired of troubles, I am 12,000 kilometers away from home and alone? What is America like? I hope I will know if the luggage arrives someday. Here the luggage appeared, it should be mine. No, it’s not mine, dammit. When will I return home? at home? You haven’t arrived here yet. Yes, but I’m just curious, I’m also interested in what America is like. The black man and I are standing in the terminal, the luggage is not visible, here is the luggage, it must be mine, God, let it be mine. it’s mine! God, it’s good.

I came out of the terminal and America appeared behind the big sliding glass doors, I walked slowly towards the doors, it was evening and there weren’t many people. The doors opened and the hot Atlantic breeze of August hit my face like a tsunami, the air was so heavy that it was hard to breathe. Is this America? Too hot, I thought. Surprised by the climate and full of euphoria, I went to the car park near the entrance, my relative Giorgi was waiting for me. I saw and thought that Giorgi looks different to me in the background of America, everything looks different here, even Giorgi. George was an older man of middle age, slightly short with a pleasant appearance. I went to hug him.
how did you travel? Giorgi asked me with a smile. After the flight, my ears were so pounded by the pressure fluctuations that I could barely hear.
I traveled normally Giorgi, thank you, my ears hurt a little, I told him.
Giorgi laughed, it’s nothing, it happens sometimes.
Soon we got into Giorgi’s car, the car was well-maintained and clean, and a Georgian cross was hanging on the mirror of the car. We drove off and it started to rain. We left the airport directly on the highway, it was 9 p.m., and large drops of rain were hitting the windshield of the car, it was very hot. And I was looking outside and wondering if America was like I imagined it to be. Giorgi looked at me, smiled, and asked –
How do you like America?
It’s good for now. I also answered with a smile.
America is a very big country with great opportunities. Giorgi said and looked at me.
I didn’t even look at him and nodded.
America is a good country, but I have to leave soon. I’ve been here for 8 years, I miss my family, Giorgi continued sadly.
8 years is a long time. I answered and started thinking about how difficult it is to live for 8 years without family and relatives, in a foreign environment, on the other side of the world. Thinking about it made me a little nervous.
It is very good if you go already, you are probably very happy. I said.
Well, my son was little when I left him, now he is a big man, do you know what a great man he is? He is studying in school with good marks, he has become a very handsome boy, and girls seem to like him. Giorgi said to me with a smile, but the smile soon changed to sad eyes, he sighed heavily and continued – does he know me? I hope he remembers who I am. Giorgi’s eyes watered, but he tried not to notice. I also tried to change the conversation to another topic. There was silence in the car for a while, I was still looking outside and looking at the famous fast-food brands that I have never seen in my country. There were too many cars and they were moving chaotically.

After a while, we turned off the highway and entered a small town, walked to the end of the town, and came to a wide house on the left side of the road. Giorgi parked his car in the parking lot in front of the house. This is the palace of the Georgians of New Jersey, he told me with a smile. We moved and rolled my heavy luggage to the door of the house, which was on the left side of the building. We entered the room, the room was a low ceiling, old renovation, and was not very spacious.
Here is your bed. Giorgi said to me and pointed to the corner of the room where there was a standard bed. He lay down on a smaller cot standing by the opposite wall.
You must be tired, let’s go to sleep. Giorgi told me. I nodded and undressed and put my clothes on the side chair. I was so tired, so tired that I couldn’t even think. I lay down and closed my eyes, it was very hot and humid. I hate dampness, I thought, that’s why I don’t like seaside resorts, wet salt on the table, and constant humidity. I don’t like it very much, although I will probably get used to it when I will come to Georgia, I have so many things to tell you, but I have just arrived. I should go to sleep. I closed my eyes and tried to think about nothing.
I woke up, I couldn’t rest, my heart was beating fast and my breathing was fast. what is happening? I thought. where am I? What am I doing here Yesterday I slept at home, in the house where I grew up and spent my whole life, where my parents slept in the side room, how did I end up here? On another continent, I don’t even know when I’ll be back home!
God, what have I done? why did I leave home I have not been out of the house for more than 2 weeks, and now I am with stranger people, in a strange country, for an indefinite period. what should I do? I thought. I got up and looked at the clock, it was exactly 5 a.m. I gathered strength and calmed down, everything will be fine, I thought. I put my head on the pillow and lay on my back. After a while, I fell asleep and dreamed of the birth of Venus all night.

It all began when one being commanded another being to give him his bounty because the sun commanded it. People prefer to donate their money in the name of God to some buildings and some people crawling in them, and then talk and complain about the impotence and unmanageable problems in these buildings and the people living in them. We felt better for a day or two. It’s like a supportive therapy, divine catharsis, it sounds amazing, we humans do a lot of cruel things, then in order not to feel bad, we ask the burdened, churches where we bring letters to people connecting with God, then he confirms that he has forgiven us and we calmly continue our hypocrisy.
