Yesterday, March 18, 2023, together with the Fermata Arts Foundation, we presented another presentation at the State of Connecticut, in New Britain public library.
I entered the hall of the presentation at 11:47 and started preparing for a hurried tempo, exactly noon we started the presentation event, traditionally, with Mr. Nikolay Synkov’s performance called ‘Civilization’. Initially, the audience was not present in the audience, but a few minutes after the presentation, several people entered the lecture.
As part of the time regulations, I was trying to be as cognitive as possible and at least in the general details I could have some idea of the history of Georgia and the Transcaucasus to attend the audience.
In this case, the public proved to be quite curious, while still presenting, they asked quite a lot of questions, and the questions were mainly about general regional and political geography, as well as some of the ethnic and religious conditions in the region.
In one part of the presentation, I am talking about the old states on the territory of Georgia and naturally, I can’t talk about Iberia. Later, I added all of this to the uniqueness of our historical polyphonic folk songs and of course the story of many millennial histories of wine.
With the facts I have referred to in the Caucasus Iberia, one of the listeners inquired, and after the end of the lecture I explained everything about the existence of two Iberia. Men, of descent, turned out to have Spanish roots, and we talked in a short conversation, about the similarities of our cultures and folk wealth, after the conversation he gave me a hand and told me – we are relatives! We laughed, and at last, we warmly separated from each other as the real Iberians. We can not say anything about ethnical similarities, however, we are close to our Western Sechs. The public was very interested, in Mr. Nikolai Synkov, a post-presentation lecture, and a slideshow analysis. Within the framework of analytical hacking, he spoke about today’s acute problems in Ukraine and around the world, as well as the importance of the American people’s involvement in world problems.
Unfortunately, I saw the library’s staff for only a few minutes, and it was not possible to talk between us, though I think that the event was quite cognitive and interesting, including for me, because I feel that, I gained a huge experience after every presentation.
