Subject: Request for Support to Foster Housing Development and Journalistic Collaboration in Ukraine

Dear Administrator Samantha Power,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Nikoloz Gvasalia, and I am a journalist volunteer associated with the Fermata Arts Foundation (FAF) based in Georgia. As a passionate advocate for sensitive journalism, I am writing to bring to your attention an ambitious project aimed at fostering housing development and strengthening journalistic collaboration in Ukraine.

The project, titled “Ukrainian Houses: Reflecting Hope and Equilibrium,” seeks to address the critical need for housing development in Ukraine, while simultaneously encouraging the exchange of ideas and perspectives among journalists from the post-Soviet countries. Our vision is to establish a uniform team of journalists, representing various journalistic companies from the post-Soviet space, to collaborate on this endeavor.

The proposed project entails the creation of up to 1,000 residential units in Ukraine, strategically placed in locations associated with historical significance. These homes will embody the sensitivity and aspirations of the Ukrainian people, showcasing their unique way of life. The project will also establish the headquarters of the shipbuilding industry in Nikolaev, Kherson, and Odessa, fostering economic growth and development in these cities.

To realize this project, we estimate a total cost of $4 billion. We have received applications from mayors of various Ukrainian cities, demonstrating their commitment and support. Furthermore, we plan to engage the active student population from Ukraine and other post-Soviet countries to serve as correspondents, forming a network of correspondence points. Their primary task will be to capture and document the vision through drawings created by artists from post-Soviet countries, specifically highlighting places of military battles and involving the art team of observers from the Ukrainian population.

In collaboration with the Fermata Arts Foundation, the art drawings will be sent to a designated plant in the forest-rich state of Vermont, where modular structures will be manufactured. These structures will then be disassembled into transportable parts and shipped to Ukraine for installation in locations that allow residents to envision and embrace the art houses.

We believe that the realization of this project will require the support and collaboration of esteemed organizations such as USAID. The funds required for this endeavor amount to $25 billion, including the final presentation of all houses built according to the art drawings curated by the Fermata Arts Foundation. We kindly request your assistance in securing the necessary resources and support to bring this project to fruition.

Furthermore, I would like to take this opportunity to request the establishment of two FAF journalist offices. The first office would be based in Georgia, to foster journalistic collaboration and support sensitive reporting. The second office would be established in Russia, facilitating cross-border communication and understanding.
